"I love the drone because it makes me feel like I'm a bird. Gravity is not applicable. You can go anywhere, and it makes me feel free.
I got back into RC cars in high school, after a bad motocross crash. They're a lot safer, and just as much fun. These cars jump 20-plus feet at some tracks and reach speeds of 50 miles per hour. It's very competitive.
In 2015, I won the West Virginia Indoor State Championship in four-wheel-drive short-course truck. That's one of my biggest accomplishments since getting back into RC racing."

Heywood & Geoff Thomas
Heywood: "Although Geoff is a designer and I'm in the Contact Center, we work together quite often on customer personalization and artwork.
After almost a decade of marriage and a beautiful daughter, it's nice to share my family with everyone at our extended Magnets USA family." Geoff: "Working with my wife is awesome. It's like working with my best friend, but we get to go home together." |

"I started baking right after my first son was born. Raising a baby isn't cheap, and I was trying to think of a fun way to make money. So I started researching cake-decorating and fell in love.
The part I love most about baking and decorating cakes is the final creation. The time spent planning, preparing, baking, decorating, cleaning up and stressing becomes way worth it. |

"Happiness is growing up on a farm with great parents, a loving hubby, sweet step-daughter and lively son, moving to the country after living in cities for nearly 20 years, toddler giggles and excitement, wonderful friends, working with a great team of talented and fun folks, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, antique tractors of the orange variety (Allis-Chalmers!), motorcycle rides (Sportster Frankenstein Trike), good typography and new art supplies."

"I've been fortunate to work for a few great visionaries in my life. In the late 80s, I left the U.S. Air Force and became a fabricator for Burton Snowboards in Vermont. Jake Burton Carpenter had a vision that changed the face of winter sports in a very short time. He played a key role in opening ski areas all over the world to accepting snowboards on their trails. He built a production team that was able to handle rapid growth and expansion.
Dale Turner (Magnets USA founder) had a vision for selling magnet products to people and companies nationwide. He has obviously put the right people in the right places to create an extraordinary team. While supporting a small community of people with gainful, challenging employment, his vision has come to fruition." |

"My tattoos all have meaning to me. My left arm is done completely in Japanese-style artwork and is all about my life and family — a snake, because I was born in the year of the snake; a duck because my dad’s nickname was duck; a turtle with a baby on his back symbolizing my son and me; a decorative fan with a rabbit on it, because my daughter is the year of the rabbit. Lots of flowers and swirls, because they’re pretty and space-fillers.
The bottom of the arm is a folk hero named Kintaro the Strong Boy. He represents me. He protects everything represented on the upper arm and is fighting a giant spider. As the husband and dad, I have to kill all the bugs in the house. My wife is represented, too, just not on that sleeve. I have a pinup girl on my right leg that I got before I met her. But, in the past year, I’ve had it modified to have red hair so that she's represented in my artwork also. My right arm is all dinosaurs, well, because dinosaurs are super-cool. Not everything has to be deep, does it?" |
